Natural Cabo de Gata.
The Cabo de Gata Natural Park is less than 1 hour
from the resort of Roquetas de Mar and offers many
isolated beaches and sheltered coves for the beach
lover. It also offers an area of salt lakes where
one can see many species of birds, some migrating
ones and others resident.

Desert.
The Tabernas Desert is the home of the Spaghetti
Westerns. Theme parks built around the original
sets such as Mini Hollywood and Western Leone are
open for visitors.

- Sierra Nevada
Two and a half hours away from Roquetas. In the
Mountain Range of Sierra Nevada there is a Skiing
resort that in many ways is the best in Spain and
even Europe. It is easy to get too and is usually
sunny 70% of the skiing season.. One can even skii
in spring wearing a bathing costume on.
